**Hotel Revenue Analyst**

**Department**: Revenue Management

**Summary**:
The Hotel Revenue Analyst plays a vital role in maximizing revenue across our hotel group in Malaysia. This position is responsible for analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and guest booking data to inform strategic decisions regarding room rates, inventory management, and revenue generation. The analyst will collaborate closely with the Revenue Management team and hotel leadership to implement effective revenue management strategies and ensure optimal performance across all properties.

**Responsibilities**:
**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Analyze market data, competitor pricing, and historical booking patterns to identify revenue opportunities and potential challenges.
- Compile and analyze revenue management data, including actuals vs. projections, trends, and competitor performance.
- Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to effectively communicate revenue management findings and recommendations.
- Assist with account diagnostics process, analyzing data, and validating conclusions to maximize profitability.

**Revenue Management Strategy**:

- Support the development and implementation of revenue management strategies that optimize room rates, inventory allocation, and distribution channels.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify market segments, pricing strategies, and promotional opportunities to maximize room revenue.
- Monitor and forecast occupancy levels to ensure optimal inventory allocation between transient rooms and group bookings.
- Participate in revenue management meetings and contribute data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate with Revenue Management team members, hotel leadership, and sales teams to ensure alignment of revenue goals and strategies.
- Clearly communicate changes in rates, restrictions, and revenue management strategies to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist hotels with pricing strategies and provide input on business evaluation recommendations.

**Distribution Channel Management**:

- Monitor distribution channels to ensure accurate hotel positioning, competitor analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Assist with revenue management system maintenance, including rate updates and forecasting adjustments.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in revenue management, hospitality analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize workload, manage time effectively, and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English, Malay, and Mandarin (written & spoken) a plus.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
