About the Role

The Catering and Event Services Manager will be responsible for executing sales activities to maximize weddings, social events, and meeting business opportunities in the defined market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, wedding planners, and decorators to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide recommendations to clients to ensure a seamless event experience.
  • Attend daily Banquet Event Order Readings and weekly Group Resume Meetings to stay informed about upcoming events and client needs.
  • Collaborate with supporting departments to ensure a hassle-free experience for clients.
  • Meet with function organizers to provide assistance and maintain a good client relationship.
  • Assist with incoming telephone calls and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in Administration or Sales in the hospitality industry or related field.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with fluency in other languages an added advantage.
  • Excellent selling skills, strong communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Presentable, outgoing, and mature personality.
  • Working rights in Malaysia required.
