Job Overview

Kian Joo Group is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports.

Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly accounts closing, financial management reports, and bank reconciliation statements in a timely manner.
  2. Accounts Management: Oversee Accounts Receivable and Payable functions, including updating stock consumption and stock summary reports.
  3. Budgeting and Planning: Assist in preparing annual budgets, fixed assets schedules, and inter-company transactions.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Malaysia accounting standards, Income Tax, withholding tax, and SST requirements.
  5. Communication: Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Requirements
  • Possess professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or ACA.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess high initiative, drive, and commitment.
  • Strong analytical skills and positive attitude required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective teamwork.
  • Experience in a manufacturing background an advantage.
