About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AP Supervisor to join our team at Speedcast International. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 7 members in the KL Shared Service Centre (KLSSC) Accounts Payable team.

You will provide strategic support from a management perspective, ensuring the operating efficiency and effectiveness of the Accounts Payable team. This includes providing supervision and coaching to the Accounts Payable team and communicating/standardizing Accounts Payable processes within the Group.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Accounts Payable processing, including invoice, credit processing, and intercompany. They will be able to perform account and statement reconciliations and liaise with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 7 members.
  • Ensure team follows company policy and procedures.
  • Ensure invoice processes are as per approval limits and per company DOA.
  • Ensure month-end closing for Accounts Payable function per timeline given.
  • Responsible for ensuring KPIs for Accounts Payable are met, including SLA, accuracy, and volume.
  • Approach business entities to resolve their concerns and queries.
