VP, Information Security Engineering Lead, ISAS

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Engineering Lead to join our team at United Overseas Bank Ltd. as a key member of our Information Security department.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to the Security Engineering team, setting goals and objectives to ensure the team's success.
- Security Architecture: Manage and oversee the security architecture of the organization, providing consultancy to strengthen security design and implementation.
- Security Tool Management: Coordinate with the team to manage and maintain security tools, including IPS, SIEM, VA scan, DLP, AV, ATP, and other security solutions.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers to deliver security projects and initiatives, providing technical consultancy and guidance.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors to perform maintenance and enhancement activities on security tools, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Vulnerability Management: Coordinate vulnerability and security posture assessments, tracking remediation for closure and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Penetration Testing: Coordinate with vendors to perform penetration testing, tracking findings for closure and ensuring the security of our systems and data.
- Compliance and Governance: Collate and provide evidence and submissions requested by various parties, including risk management, auditors, and regulators, to confirm the implementation of security policies, processes, and guidelines.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-15 years of related working experience, with a strong background in IT security.
- Industry certifications, such as CRISC, CISSP, CEH, CISM, and CISA, are highly desirable.
- Highly result-oriented and able to work independently, with excellent analytical, technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with internal and external parties, including business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong engagement skills and ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in applying established techniques, procedures, or standards.
- Technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: Network Concepts and Security, Encryption/Authentication fundamentals, Access Management, Application Security, Platform (Windows, UNIX/Linux) Security, Database Security.
- Hands-on experience with various security tools, including SIEM, IPS, Firewall, Vulnerability scanner tools, APT, XDR, NDR, and forensic tools.
- Familiarity with security standards and best practices, regulatory requirements, and architecture and security of operating systems.
