Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Boston Scientific Medical Device (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. as a key member of our leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial and business support to key functions within the business, ensuring timely and accurate bookkeeping and reporting in accordance with local regulations and US GAAP requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Support: Provide financial and business support to key functions within the business, including annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles.
  • Financial Analysis: Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide financial support and ensure results, forecasts, and budgets are complete and submitted timely.
  • Process Improvement: Review business processes within each group to ensure full financial control and optimum efficiency, leading the design and implementation of cost improvements and efficiency studies.
  • Project Support: Finance lead and/or supporting role for all projects that require finance support, establishing an ongoing project review process and driving cost control and solid forecasting.
  • Supply Chain Management: Oversee OEM trading hub supply chain end-to-end process and ensure proper control is in place.
  • Financial Reporting: Perform month-end close process to ensure timely close and financial reports preparation, ensuring financial and accounting processes are in compliance with Corporate and local policies, statutory requirements, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Tax Compliance: Payment and calculation of all local taxes, maintaining all substantiation records for tax.
  • Internal Controls: Implementation and maintenance of internal controls, ensuring adherence to internal policies and best practice policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree holder in Accounting, CPA or ACCA (or equivalent professional qualification)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a multinational company, with auditing experience in an audit firm
  • English language competency and effective communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good working attitude and able to work in a team
