We are a leading chemical company, BASF Asia-Pacific Service Centre S/B, seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient tax operations and compliance for our legal entities in Malaysia and Singapore.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Timely submission of reports to internal stakeholders and external authorities.
  • Ensure tax procedures and processes meet relevant requirements.
  • Work with the business to ensure adequate compliance and effective controls.
Key Tasks:
  • Manage tax incentives reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure useful life for different asset classes are maintained according to Tax Laws.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent recognized professional accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant corporate tax experience with a big 4/local accountancy firm, medium or large corporations.
Technical & Professional Knowledge:
  • Proficient in Malaysia's corporate tax, Indirect Taxes, Transfer Pricing knowledge and accounting principles/Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft applications.
