  • Audit Planning: Prepare detailed audit plans for review by supervisors, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to ensure a successful audit.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare draft tax computations and ensure that adequate provisions are made for tax liabilities.
  • Client Communication: Respond to manager's review points in a timely manner and confirm final audit reports with clients before release.
  • Issue Identification: Identify and document audit issues and recommendations to enhance improvements in controls and procedures.
  • Statutory Compliance: Liaise with company secretaries, tax agents, and other authorities to obtain statutory information required for the audit assignment.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare group financial statements.
  • Interviews and Presentations: Conduct interviews with responsible officers and staff to gain an overall understanding of control activities on the cycle, and attend exit meetings with clients to present audit reports and highlight issues and tax computations.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Hold a professional accounting qualification and/or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Partial Professional Qualifications: Possess partial professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, MIA, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in audit.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Be detailed and organized, with the ability to manage self well.
  • Client Management: Possess good client management and interpersonal skills.
