As a Channel Business Development Lead, you will play a key role in executing the customer strategy and business plan, driving sales growth, market share, and debtor days for Unilever categories. You will work closely with customers to implement the business plan, collaborate with category teams, marketing, and brand teams to develop and optimize promotional plans.

\

You will be responsible for building excellent business relationships at store level, managing the store ordering process, and ensuring high-quality in-store presence of our brands. This involves negotiating promotional plans, managing customer investments, monitoring customer performance, and tracking sales, customer contribution, and market share for major categories.

\

You will also act as an active ambassador of Unilever at the customer and of the customer at Unilever, participating in internal meetings to drive business solutions. Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver agreed plans, follow-up on achievements, and manage multiple stakeholders to drive operational excellence.

\

To succeed in this role, you must possess at least a diploma or bachelor's degree in any field, with a minimum of two to three years of experience in account management or field sales in FMCG. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with a proven track record of delivering top-line and bottom-line results.
