Key Responsibilities
  1. Corporate Governance and Compliance
  • Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory, and compliance matters to ensure alignment with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain an adequate and transparent corporate governance system, including principles, policies, procedures, and clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities.
Regulatory and Risk Management
  • Proactively detect and resolve material legal and regulatory issues, and report on and escalate material legal and regulatory risks and issues.
  • Monitor and report on legal trends and laws, allowing for timely anticipation of new requirements and their potential impact on the organization.
Corporate Transactions and Shared Services
  • Support the strategy for structuring, negotiating, and resolving local legal issues of corporate transactions, while protecting Zurich's assets.
  • Develop relationships with Shared Service stakeholders to ensure consistency of legal services and standards.
Requirements

Required:

  1. 2 or more years of experience in the Legal area.

Preferred:

  1. Insurance Industry experience.
  2. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
