Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our team in Malaysia. As a valued member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated engineers in providing engineering design and calculation support to large-scale and/or infrastructure projects across the Middle East Africa & Asia Pacific (MEAAP) regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of engineers in providing engineering design and calculation support to large-scale and/or infrastructure projects
  2. Develop and implement economical and practical formwork solutions to meet team and company objectives
  3. Conduct advanced static calculations and provide technical support to the sales team
  4. Supervise project deadlines and/or milestones, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  5. Assist the sales team in MEAAP countries with client presentations and project site support
  6. Provide strong leadership and actively promote engineering trainings and development for engineering staff
  7. Coordinate the availability of engineering staff and ensure effective communication with multiple stakeholders
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines
Minimum of ten years of experience in formwork, particularly with international formwork systems
Professional experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, and familiarity with Doka formwork systems is highly advantageous
Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, Inventor, Estab) and project management tools
Strong analytical skills and technical proficiency in the formwork industry, with a focus on the Asia Pacific region
Effective communicator, capable of liaising with multiple stakeholders
Strong leadership skills with a team-oriented work approach
Willingness to travel and be mobile
