Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular maintenance activities, including software updates, patch management, and configuration reviews, to ensure optimal network performance and security.
  2. Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to network-related incidents, troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with other IT teams to investigate and resolve complex network problems, ensuring business continuity and customer satisfaction.
  3. Network Security: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of our network. Conduct regular security assessments and audits, addressing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards.
  4. Capacity Planning: Perform capacity planning to anticipate future network needs based on business growth and technological advancements. Recommend and implement enhancements to optimize network performance and reliability, ensuring seamless service delivery to our customers.
  5. Network Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, topologies, and procedures. Create and update network diagrams, ensuring they reflect the current state of our infrastructure, and provide valuable insights for future planning and optimization.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other IT teams, vendors, and business units to coordinate network-related activities and projects, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve business objectives.


Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on network operations, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
  3. In-depth knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and security best practices.
  4. Experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostic equipment.
  5. Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
