Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Safety, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Process Safety Engineer in a chemical plant or similar related job.
  • Strong knowledge of process safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, PSM).
  • Experience with process hazard analyses (PHA) and layers of protection analysis (LOPA) to identify and mitigate potential process safety hazards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain process safety management systems.
  • Lead process safety reviews, audits, and inspections.
  • Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses (RCA).
