Job Title: Financial Controller/ Accountant

Description:

  1. Financial Management: Lead the financial operations for all brands, ensuring accurate financial records, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Develop and share actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  2. Cost Optimization: Analyze expenses across all brands and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures. Collaborate with leadership to align financial strategies with company goals.
  3. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with Canadian tax laws, including Ontario and Quebec-specific regulations, for all entities.
  4. Vendor Relations: Oversee vendor and supplier accounts, securing favorable terms and cost-effectiveness for all brands.
  5. Financial Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial management or e-commerce.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws, including Ontario/Quebec-specific requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
