About This Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Facilities Executive at HSBC Malaysia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, prioritizing facilities' needs, and striving for continuous improvement in the process.

You will work closely with the facilities manager and assistant facilities manager to develop and implement preventive/corrective maintenance programs for M&E installations. Additionally, you will manage supply and service contracts as approved by clients, taking part in emergency evacuation procedures, crisis management, and business continuity plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement preventive/corrective maintenance programs for M&E installations.
  2. Manage a team of in-house maintenance technicians, requisite M&E equipment/parts i.e., HVAC, gen-set, and UPS, as well as attend to complaints relating to M&E services that will jeopardize bank operations.
  3. Develop maintenance plans for fire safety systems, coordinating fire safety audits as well as inspections by the fire department (Bomba).
  4. Requisite fire safety equipment and parts as well as follow up and investigate incidents or complaints relating to fire safety in the clients' premise facilities.
  5. Coordinating daily work orders through Corrigo and ensure the work completion within the SLA set by the organizations in accordance with contractual compliance.
  6. Review and approve safety permits submitted by subcontractors/vendors prior to work commencement to ensure safety compliance will be strictly followed.
  7. Annual renewal of statutory permits i.e., PMA, gen-set certifications, fire extinguishers, etc., including liaison with local authorities such as DOSH, Bomba, and Energy Commission.
  8. Follow through tender, evaluation, and recommendation of service or term contracts, as well as its administration and management.
  9. Conduct general inspections to identify services for rectification and oversee subcontractors' performance in accordance with contractual work scope and timeline of completion.

Excellent Communication Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, being able to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
