About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Costing Engineer to join our team at Hunters International Sdn Bhd. As a Costing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by providing accurate and timely cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough analysis of project scope, specifications, and technical data to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
  2. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
  3. Develop and maintain tender track lists and IMS systems to ensure seamless project execution.
  4. Work closely with project teams to identify and manage variations, and ensure compliance with established quality procedures.
  5. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to ensure their professional growth and development.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve cost estimation methodologies and processes.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Studies or a related field.
  2. Prior experience in engineering or sales, preferably in an engineering environment.
