Objektif utama penubuhan KOSAS adalah untuk membantu membangunkan ekonomi anggota-angotanya. Semenjak penubuhannya, KOSAS terus mengorak langkah kehadapan dengan mempelbagaikan aktiviti perniagaan tanpa mengabaikan kebajikan kepada anggota. KOSAS telah terus berkembang dengan keahlian sekarang melebihi 3000 orang. Semenjak penubuhannya, KOSAS terus mengorak langkah dalam mempelbagaikan aktiviti perniagaan dari sektor pertanian, hartanah, pelaburan dan lain-lain dan KOSAS akan terus berusaha menceburi bidang-bidang perniagaan yang lain untuk memberikan pulangan dan nilai tambah dalam meningkatkan taraf sosio ekonomi anggotanya. Hasil sokongan anggota dan kepimpinan Anggota Lembaga Koperasi serta dedikasi Pengurusan, KOSAS telah meneruskan momentun pertumbuhan perniagaan yang stabil dan mantap.
