Reports To Lead, SAP COE Role Purpose Identify business requirements from Business Unit; assist the manager on the continuous improvement activities in developing feasible solutions to support business units process improvement in the company. Key Accountability - Implement business cost reduction and control by leveraging on information technology; Analyze and evaluate demand request received from business users, and translate needs into business / technical requirements for IT;
- Analyze and evaluate demand request received from business users, and translate needs into business / technical requirements for IT; Provide recommendations to business users on value added functional design / solutions - Compile design review session with Application Support team to ensure design is aligned to recommended solution; Review the feasibility of the solution proposed by AMS team (3rd party vendor), to ensure that it satisfy the company’s requirement at the least cost (implementation, maintenance cost) and review man days charge for any system change request enhancement for HR, Property, EC, IT & CEO’s Office systems - Advises and supports the execution of approved demand request to ensure improvement and sustainability of finance systems and processe; Oversee the completion of the new system functionalities and follow up with 3rd party team for issue resolution. - Adocates recommended business process to obtain approval based on the company’s change request governance processes; Monitor and maintain efforts to ensure adherence to agreed SLAs in Vendor Management Qualifications & Working Experience - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT Related or equivalent discipline with minimum 3 years’ experience and above in the aviation industry Skill & Knowledge - Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills - Creative and strategic-thinking skills necessary to resolve complex problems and/or identify innovative alternatives - Proficient in relevant Finance and flight cost systems with advanced understanding of Finance and flight cost systems end to end business processes and knowledge in operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives Key Challenges - Recommending solutions that are tailored to various unique business scenarios that ranges from operations, support, subsidiaries and stations. - Build credibility and manage collaborative working relationships with multiple stakeholders in Business Units, Group IT and external vendors - Constantly keeping abreast with the latest SAP functionalities and capabilities in the market to meet the demands of the competitive airline industry.
