The Inside Sales Manager, New Business, APJ is a critical member of the Veeam Team, working closely with Leadership, Marketing, Inside Sales Representatives, and field-based Account Managers covering APJ for all segments. This role is an Individual Contributor with matrix leadership to APJ Inside Sales Associate and Business Development Representatives to prospect on new business for Veeam.
**Responsibilities**
- Matrix leadership to a team of 40 Inside Sales Associate and Business Development Representatives, and/ or Team Leads, driving overachievement and goals with coaching, performance management, engagement, and career development.
- Nurtures a positive team environment, in alignment with Veeam's Core Values.
- Drives revenue and contributes to the continued growth of Veeam through consistently achieving individual and team goals
- Monitors daily activity of reps including outbound calls, targeting specific prospects to achieve objectives and running success campaigns
- Collaborates with local Inside Sales Leaders, local and regional Marketing Leaders on plan and success for Veeam’s new business prospecting.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement across sales operations and makes recommendations to leadership for streamlining processes
**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of inside sales management or supervisory experience preferred; telephone and internet based sales experience required
- Demonstrated experience building, training, managing, growing and developing a Business Development team
- Skilled motivator with demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales staff to exceed targeted sales objectives and deliver high quality service to customers
- Proven track record of successful selling and management
- Ability to work well with all levels of people and teams in a matrix-organization structure
- Excellent management and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated knowledge of different sales methodologies and cadences
- Knowledge of virtualization technology; VMware and/or Microsoft is highly desirable
- Knowledge of storage vendors and partners
