**Job Summary**:The Manager of Human Resources at City University Malaysia is responsible for the comprehensive oversight and strategic direction of the HR function. This position entails developing and implementing robust human resource strategies, policies, and programs that align with the university’s mission and goals. The role involves strategic planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and ensuring adherence to employment laws and university policies. The Manager will lead and inspire the HR team to cultivate a positive and productive workplace culture
- **Job Description Key Responsibilities**: Strategic HR Management, Develop and implement HR strategies that are aligned with the university’s strategic goals and objectives. Provide senior management with insights and recommendations on HR-related matters to facilitate organizational development and effectiveness. Monitor and analyze HR metrics and data to inform strategic planning and decision-making, ensuring alignment with university objectives.
- Develop and maintain programs to foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary issues promptly and in accordance with university policies and legal requirements.
- Promote a culture of open communication and constructive feedback to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
- Develop and manage comprehensive performance appraisal systems to drive high performance and accountability.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Implement targeted training and development programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth.
- Oversee the administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.
- Ensure salary structures are competitive and equitable, reflecting market standards and university budget considerations.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to benefits programs to meet the needs of employees and support the university’s strategic objectives.
- Ensure all HR practices comply with Malaysian labor laws and university policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to achieve high standards of performance and professionalism.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging innovation and best practices.
- Promote continuous improvement and professional development within the HR team to enhance overall effectiveness.
- Any other proposal and implementation thereafter need to diagnose the current practice at the work place

- Manage HR-related risks, including those associated with employment practices and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation to support legal and organizational requirements.

Pay: RM3,766.71 - RM10,850.25 per month
