**Job Summary**

Mokkys Central Kitchen is looking for a dedicated and hardworking **Commis / Kitchen Crew** to support our culinary team, focusing either on **Hot Kitchen** or **Pastry** preparation. You will assist in daily food prep, maintain kitchen hygiene, and ensure smooth kitchen operations under the guidance of senior chefs.

**Key Responsibilities**:_Hot Kitchen_ Focus:

- Prepare and cook hot food items such as grilled, sautéed, and fried dishes according to company SOP.
- Ensure all mise-en-place is ready before service time.
- Assist in handling cooking equipment like fryers, grills, and stoves.
- Follow portion control and presentation standards consistently.
- Ensure food is prepared and stored following food safety guidelines.
- Pastry_ Focus:

- Assist in making pastries, doughs, tarts, and other baked goods.
- Prepare basic dessert components and handle plating under chef supervision.
- Support with baking operations and ensure quality control.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of all pastry tools and ingredients.

**General Duties**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
- Practice proper food handling, labeling, and storage procedures.
- Cooperate with team members to meet daily kitchen targets.
- Comply with kitchen hygiene, health, and safety standards (e.g. HACCP).
- Assist in stock rotation and reporting of inventory shortages.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum SPM or equivalent; culinary background is an added advantage.
- Experience in hot kitchen or pastry preparation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fast learner with a positive working attitude and teamwork spirit.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to work on rotational shifts, including weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
