DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Formulate, implement, monitor and review all policies and procedures relating to the Hospitals’ Human Resources & Personnel Development activities in line with Group policies.
2. Act as key liaison person between Senior Management and employees to facilitate a positive work environment for all Hospital employees. Continuously maintain employee discipline and harmony, and monitor employee relations issues, grievances and counseling on work related problems in line with Group policies.
3. Prepare and monitor the yearly divisional budget in accordance to the format and template provided by Group.
4. Liaise with all Heads of Departments to plan for and fulfill manpower requirements. Manage and continuously enhance the entire spectrum of recruitment activities (local ).
5. Develop and implement succession planning for all key areas in the Hospital.
6. Work closely with respective Heads of Departments to conduct job description development and evaluation.
7. Work with Group HR to develop, review and implement effective in house & external training programmes, to meet the Hospital’s training needs and requirements.
8. Conduct and advise on the yearly performance appraisal exercise for the Hospital within the timeline provided by Group HR.
9. Develop, review and implement a competitive compensation and benefits package for the Hospital. To administer and to ensure that equity is maintained in salary administration, by undertaking surveys to establish local trends and analyzing data for salary administration and review.
10. Continuously review and develop employee welfare programmes to attract, retain and motivate employees.
11. Review and administer appropriate reports to include (but not limited to) recruitment / resignation statistics, training expenditure & hours.
12. Coordinate all activities and endeavours required for any of the Hospital’s accreditation initiatives.
13. Lead, develop and manage the Human Resources & Personnel Development team to carry out routine and ad hoc functions.
14. Participate on the Administrator’s out of hours on call rota.
15. You are responsible to be engaged in the Department and Hospital quality indicators.
16. Enhance professional growth and development through reading of relevant literature, as well as attendance to relevant training programmes (internal & external).
17. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
