This position reports to the Group Head of Operations
The Crewing Manager will be responsible for the overall management of day to day crewing operations for flight crew and cabin crew, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with the associated regulations. You will lead the Crewing team with responsibility for all crew operations from 48 hours to on the day. You will lead a multinational team with responsibility for multiple AOC’s.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Constantly strive for and challenge any threat to safe operations be that of company assets or staff.
- Monitor trends or proposed changes in policy or regulation. Feedback impacts and suggested approaches to Senior Management.
- Upkeep and development of Day of Ops Crewing Library, including Notices to staff.
- Monitor and develop adequate initial and recurrent training for all staff to allow them to perform their allocation duties to the highest standard.
- Review statistical data on performance and, in conjunction with other departments, reengineer areas to improve day to day crewing efficiency in conjunction with Crew Resource Managers
- Verify items relevant to post flight reporting including VR comments and reports (safety / discretion etc.), FDP discretion reports etc. in conjunction with flight operations and CCD to ensure no adverse trends develop communicating areas of concern to the relevant department.
- Maintain strong relationships with CCD, Flight Operation and Technical Crew leading to a mutual understanding of problems and to develop ways to rectify any such problems.
- Effectively manage day to day crewing operations, ensuring that revenue is maximized on the day at the lowest possible cost, and leading the day of ops crewing teams
- Ensure legality of all crews operating and manage any disruption events on the day of operations
- Providing direction to all shift based teams and act as an effective escalation point with regard to potential disruptions and departmental issues
- Confident in supporting and delivering projects, digital transformations and working alongside the wider stakeholder community

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree, aviation and business related fields would be an advantage
- At least 5 years of airline experience, with at least 3 years in a crew planning capacity
- Excellent knowledge of crew related regulations across the AirAsia Group
- Excellent and demonstrable leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of AIMS will be an advantage
- A good understanding of technology and digitalization in the operations control space is an advantage
- Cost and revenue conscious mindset
