_**Job Purpose**:_

The intern placed at the Government Affairs & External Relations team will be exposed in learning communications, stakeholder engagement, event planning & implementation, CSR and branding. The role provides hands-on exposure by working closely with colleagues from different departments and levels of hierarchy. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience, supporting meaningful initiative that is the first in Malaysia.**Responsibilities**:_

**Event Implementation**
- Support the planning, coordination and implementation of corporate and community events.
- Assist in preparing event materials such as invitations, briefing notes / slide packs and basic design works.
- Coordinate logistics including securing venue, vendors and follow-ups.
- Provide on-ground support during execution of event.
- Assist with post-event evaluation.

**Branding**
- Assist in monitoring the use of corporate branding across materials and platforms, in ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines.
- Contribute ideas for creative campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
- Support in designing basic collateral such as posters, merchandise, and presentations.

**Content Writing & Curation**
- Research and curate relevant content to strengthen messaging for internal communication materials such as employee newsletter and presentation slide pack.
- Update and manage contents for the department’s (GA&ER) intranet folder portal such as collation of event or activity photos, SOPs and policies.

**Community Relations & Engagement / CSR**
- Assist in coordinating CSR initiatives and community engagement activities.
- Support stakeholder database update.
- Participate in engagements with external stakeholders and prepare minutes / discussion recap for reporting purposes.

**Administrative Support**
- Provide administrative support, which includes processing of invoices, scheduling meetings and appointments, monitoring news related to the Company across all print media and digital media i.e. social media, blog posts and websites of news portals.

**Job Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Corporate Comm, Mass Comm, Business Administration/Management, Marketing or other related discipline.
- Familiarity in doing non-elaborate design using Canva; basic photography; and videography would be advantageous.
- Must have positive and passion-to-learn attitude.
- Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: RM800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
