**Key Responsibilities**

**Financial Reporting**:

- Handle and prepare full set of accounts, project accounting (outlets) and consolidation accounts in Singapore and Malaysia
- Oversee the whole financial operations including GL, AP, AR, treasury, fixed assets, inventories, financial accounting, management accounting and annual forecasting, budgeting, cash flow forecast as well as managing statutory reporting and compliance requirements
- Respond and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and bankers
- Provide financial data, reports and analysis on the overall and outlets financial performance of the company to the management on a regular monthly and ad-hoc basis
- Manage month-end/ year-end close process and ensure all journals, AP, AR and billing are posted accurately
- Oversee the operations and development of the finance department including create and reviewing SOP, policies and propose enhancements for internal controls and accounting functions
- Ensure inter-company transactions and balances are reconciled regularly and on monthly basis
- Visit and liaise with outlet staffs for accounting related matters
- Handle stock-take, reconciliations and adjustments to ensure inventories were recorded in the system correctly
- Plan and coordinate the annual financial audit process
- Resolve issues and deficiencies arising from audit findings
- Respond to internal and external auditors on audit data, variances, and findings
- Assist in new processes and system implementation

**Tax / Compliance**:

- Advise on transfer pricing for the group and compliance to transfer pricing filing and regulations
- Preparation and submission of GST and Corporate Income Tax Returns
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents and secretary for statutory reporting and compliance
- Handle all tax matters and attend queries with IRAS and government bodies

Any other duties as and when assigned by management

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/ Finance or equivalent with professional accounting qualifications (CA, ACCA, CPA)
- APAC group exposure is preferred
- Must have experience in Retail/ FMCG
- Attention to detail and deadline-oriented
- Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with suppliers and banker
- Ability to work well under tight deadline and employs a proactive approach to problem-solving and able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Knowledge of Oracle, SAP B1 is an advantage
- Strong working knowledge of Ms. Excel
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice

**Salary**: RM22,500.00 - RM30,000.00 per month
