**Responsibilities**:
**1. Logistics & Shipment Management**
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the shipment of products from order placement to final delivery.
- Arrange and manage all aspects of transportation, including inland freight, sea freight (FCL/LCL/Bulk), and air freight for both imports and exports.
- Prepare and review shipping documents (e.g., Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, etc.) with high accuracy.
- Handle customs clearance and ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including HS code classification.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and trucking companies to ensure competitive rates and reliable service.

**2. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination**
- Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure timely receiving, storage, and dispatch of machinery and parts.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate logistics for just-in-time deliveries to support sales and service operations.
- Oversee proper packaging and crating of heavy machinery to prevent damage during transit.

**3. Documentation & Compliance**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics transactions, shipping documents, and related costs.
- Ensure full compliance with local and international trade laws and safety regulations.
- Manage the issuance of import/export permits and other required certifications.

**4. Customer & Supplier Communication**
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and sales teams regarding shipment status, tracking, and delivery schedules.
- Proactively communicate any delays or issues and provide effective solutions.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers, both domestic and international, to coordinate collection and shipment.

**5. Cost Management & Analysis**
- Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics service providers to optimize costs.
- Track and analyze logistics expenses, prepare cost reports, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Verify and process freight invoices for payment.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management, preferably within heavy machinery, construction, automotive, or industrial trading sectors.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong knowledge of international shipping (Incoterms 2020), customs procedures, and documentation.
- Experience with ERP systems is a strong advantage.
