We are currently looking to hire a Trade Compliance Executive, who will be responsible for handling LMW documentation with Johor Customs.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. LMW Compliance & Documentation**
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of LMW reports (e.g., M1-M4) in compliance with customs regulations.
- Maintain and update the LMW material list in coordination with the appointed LMW officer.
- Act as the main liaison with Customs authorities for audits, renewals, and amendments.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure readiness for LMW inspections and regulatory submissions.

**2. FTA & COO Administration**
- Review and determine Certificate of Origin (COO) eligibility under applicable APAC FTAs.
- Maintain accurate and complete FTA documentation for duty exemption claims.
- Monitor changes in trade regulations and proactively address potential compliance impacts.

**3. Costing & Analysis**
- Conduct landed cost analysis for imported goods and raw materials.
- Provide accurate cost data to procurement and finance teams for pricing, budgeting, and vendor assessment.
- Identify opportunities for tariff savings, cost reduction, and process improvement.

**4. Cross-functional & External Coordination**
- Serve as the key contact for Customs officers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure smooth communication and regulatory compliance.
- Support production and warehouse teams in monitoring goods movement and managing scrap handling in compliance with regulations.
- Work with procurement, logistics, and finance to maintain seamless end-to-end supply chain compliance.
- Handle ad hoc assignments to support trade operations and regulatory initiatives.

**Requirements**:
**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

**Experience**
- **Executive Level**: Minimum 2 years’ experience in trade compliance, customs operations, or supply chain compliance.
- **Senior Level**: Over 5 years’ relevant experience with in-depth knowledge of customs processes, COO, and import/export regulations.
- Hands-on experience in landed cost computation.
- Prior exposure to LMW operations and APAC FTAs is an advantage.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and data analysis tools.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Capable of working independently under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
- Good command of English and Malay, both written and spoken.
