**Responsibilities**:

- Job Description
- We are looking for an Account Payable Team Lead to supervise the delivery of all accounts payable activities and assist the Account Payable Lead in managing the team.- You will coach and train the team on day to day transaction processing and assist them with questions raised and problems.
- Assist to establish policies, procedures and controls.
- Expense coding, book to correct cost centre and obtain approval to pay from respective department head.
- Ensure timely, proper accounting and posting of information into Account Payables.
- Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliation and aging on a monthly basis.
- Handle accounts payable transactions and accounting queries from other departments.
- Assist in preparing monthly accounting statement, analysis and report.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure efficient month-end closing.
- You will be tasked with opportunities for Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- EDUCATION
- A recognized degree or diploma in Finance / Accounting or related disciplines, or professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or CPA.
- EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years' experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory position, preferably in retail industry.
- Has been trained and had extensive exposure in Oracle accounting transactions. Has applied skills in various industries.
- Extensive and in-depth knowledge and understanding in complex working environment.
- Good command of PC knowledge (e.g. Excel, Words, PowerPoint and etc.)
- Knowledge of local tax is an added advantage
- Meticulous and ability to perform job with accuracy.**Benefits**:
