Sales Account Manager

Sales based in Penang: Responsible for generating existing and/or new sales for assigned named accounts or assigned geographic, territory, industry or accounts list, or for identifying and recruiting strategic partners to embed and/or resell company products. Promotes and sells products and/or solutions to current or new customers/partners and informs customers of new product introductions. Creates monitors and revises lead generation plans. Responsible for developing customers and maintaining their satisfaction. Maintains positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Proactively acts to understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries; actively creates business opportunities.
- Determines and develops approaches to sales assignments to achieve quota/ strategies.
- Leads projects requiring coordination with other functions, organizations.
- Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.
- Develop and implement short and long term sales plans to deliver order growth for the assigned territory.
- Focus on achieving Quota targets and develop strategies to drive sustainable growth and market share gains in the territory.
- Quote prices, delivery and commercial terms for orders obtained in accordance with company policy.
- Develop effective customer relationships in order to deliver sales as budgeted.
- Prepare and report projected order forecasts when required.
- Collaborate with peers to define and leverage cross product business opportunities for growth in traditional and emerging markets.
- Record all activities in CRM database.
- Some travels may be required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors or Masters’ Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
- Typically 4+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.
- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in job and ability to work independently.
