Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Prepare financial statements and relevant reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Perform or assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities during audits and inspections.
- To participate in developing and implementing internal controls and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- To assist in maintaining accurate financial records by recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and updating financial statements.
- To process accounts payable and receivable. To process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring that payments are made on time, and accurately recorded in the accounting system.
- To assist in monitoring and controlling expenses by reviewing expense reports, verifying receipts, and reconciling expenses with budgets.
- To reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure that all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- To assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies by maintaining documentation, supporting audit processes, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Job requirements:

- Advanced Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
