**Customer Service Associate (Japanese speaker) - Work from Home (with occasional office visits)**
**We are looking for a passionate and multilingual customer service associate to join our team in Kuala Lumpur Sentral**
**About the Role**:
In this exciting role, you'll provide exceptional customer support to our clients, primarily in Japanese (80% of calls) with some English (20%). You'll be responsible for identifying customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This is a permanent, work-from-home position with occasional mandatory visits to our office in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur (especially during the initial 4 months).
**Responsibilities**:
- Handle customer calls and inquiries in Japanese and English.
- Understand and address diverse customer needs and situations.
- Provide exceptional service in a friendly, confident, and knowledgeable manner.
- Stay updated on client processes, internal procedures, technology, and products.
- Utilize internal and client-based tools for customer management and service.
- Conduct data entry, documentation, and case management.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Achieve and maintain required sales targets.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
**Requirements**:
- Fluent in Japanese (monolingual) with strong Kanji writing skills.
- English proficiency is a plus.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a performance-driven role with measurable goals.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales role.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer skills and comfortable learning new software.
