SMH Rail has a presence in overseas locations such as India, Tanzania, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana, Thailand, and Cambodia.

**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Executive at SMH Rail Group located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Legal Executive will be responsible for providing legal advice, preparing legal documents, handling property law matters, and overseeing conveyancing activities on a day-to-day basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides support by implementing local legal policy and coordinate gap analysis.
- Support in implementing the activities documented in the legal Plan.
- Coordinate and compile requests of regulators.
- Collaborate with other departments to create legal’ s culture.
- Where required, prepare/draft relevant policies, standard operating procedures etc for the department.
- Ensure proper record keeping of all legal contracts, statutory forms, and documents in compliance with the relevant laws.
- Attend meetings as and when legal advice or input is required.

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in a related field.
- Familiarity with local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- High ethical standards and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Strong knowledge in reviewing, drafting, and research skills.
- Litigation experience is an added advantage.
- Contract management and project management experience.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
