The resort consists of 499 guest rooms, a 64-acre nature reserve, the Rasa Ria Reserve, home to wildlife including long-tailed macaques and slow lorises, and home to an 18-hole championship golf course with picture-perfect views of Mt Kinabalu (a UNESCO World Heritage site).

We're looking for an experienced and dynamic, Golf Operations Manager or aspiring to be required for our Dalit Bay Golf & Country Club.

Job summary

The Golf Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day Golf operations and club experience including the food and beverage, oversees the management of the daily operations related to golfing experience and applicable department operations and services to assure high standard and total golfer satisfaction.

He/she should be a detail-oriented team leader with strong guest-centric, business, and organizational skills along with a passion for the game of golf. Develops all golf operations department budget including past performances and forecasts to see that all financial goals are met as per the hotel’s guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Requirement

Minimum 2 years of golf operations experience.
Certificate of Diploma in Golf / Sports Management or equivalent
Experience in managing a large staff.
Excellent customer service skills, friendly and personable.
Strong leadership and strategic planning experience
Self-motivated with the desire to promote and market.
Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skill
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Articulate, neat, presentable and outgoing
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Maintain a credible golf game and remain current on teaching innovations
