Finance Executive

**Responsibilities**
- **Financial Operations**:Handle day-to-day activities such as processing invoices, managing payments, maintaining cash books, and reconciling accounts.
- **Financial Reporting**:Prepare accurate and timely monthly/periodic financial reports, cash flow statements, and management reports.
- **Analysis and Budgeting**:Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget), analyze financial trends, and support the preparation of annual budgets.
- **Compliance**:Liaise with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance with financial regulations, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
- **Process Improvement**:Identify and propose initiatives to improve operational efficiencies and the quality of financial deliverables.
- **Cost Management**:Identify opportunities to reduce costs and manage cost centre matters (both OPEX and CAPEX).
- **Strategic Support**:Provide financial insights, trends, and data to support strategic planning and achieve organizational objectives.
- **Interdepartmental Collaboration**:Work with other departments to align financial targets and support overall business goals.

**Requirements**:
Education
- **Bachelor's Degree**: A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics is usually the minimum requirement.
- **Professional Qualifications**: Qualifications like ACCA, MIA, or CPA are often recognized.

Experience
- **Years of Experience**:At least 1 year of relevant experience in finance or accounting is often expected.
- **Full Set of Accounts**:Experience handling a full set of accounts (AP/AR/GL/BS/Bank Reconciliation) and preparing monthly financial reports is a compulsory requirement.

Skills & Competencies
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
- **Communication Skills**:Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for clear reporting and interaction with teams.
- **Organizational & Time Management Skills**:Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage time effectively are essential.
- **Soft Skills**:Other important attributes include being a self-starter, a team player, having high integrity, and a results-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications
- **Data Visualization Tools**: Experience with tools like Tableau or Power BI can be advantageous.
- **Professional Certifications**: Holding certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a significant plus.
- **Multi-Lingual Fluency**: Fluency in languages like Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu may be required in certain multinational or local companies in Malaysia.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
