Overview:
THE ROLE:
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage supplier performance by providing feedback to suppliers inclusive of a supplier scorecard, identify improvement objectives, select suppliers for future business, and manage the risk for long term contracts. This role supports APAC & China and reporting to the Procurement Operations Lead based in China.
Qualifications:
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
**Skills**:
- Knowledge of Oracle Purchasing and iProcurement with an understanding of the Procurement and Sourcing fields.
- Strong operation and analytical skills backed up by advanced knowledge of related tools (e.g., Excel lookups, pivot tables and charts).
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Teams.
- Demonstrated ability to handle large and disparate data sets.
- Sense of urgency and ability to juggle multiple projects; ability to achieve timely and desired results by effectively and efficiently prioritizing tasks and projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Languages
- Fully bilingual in English & Mandarin
Experiences
- 4 years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance or related.
EDUCATION
- Education: University degree, ideally Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance or Accounting, or Industrial Engineering or related
