Manage and supervise the reservations team, ensuring high performance and adherence to hotel standards.
- Monitor and maximize room occupancy, revenue, and average room rate.
- Ensure that all reservation requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Manage room inventory, ensuring availability and optimizing occupancy.
- Implement and maintain effective reservation procedures to ensure accurate and timely bookings.
- Analyse booking trends and provide regular reports on occupancy, revenue, and market segments. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for attracting and retaining guests.
- Maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
- Ensure all guest requests and special requirements are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Train and develop the reservations team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Resolve any issues related to reservations, overbooking, or guest complaints promptly and effectively.
- Prepare and present regular reports on reservations activity, occupancy rates, and revenue.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with legal requirements, such as data protection regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new reservation technologies.
- To perform any additional duties and responsibilities when requested by the management.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Must have experience as a Reservation Manager or in a similar role within the hotel industry.
- Strong knowledge of hotel reservations systems, preferably IHMS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office and hotel management software.
- At least 5 years of working experience and above
- A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
