**Position Overview**:The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships. The role focuses on optimizing efficiency, optimising costs, and ensuring seamless operations across all departments to support business objectives. This position plays a key role in strategic planning, process improvements, and compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supply Chain & Procurement Management**
- Lead and oversee products sourcing, procurement, logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations and business continuity.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies, vendor management policies, and supply chain procedures aligned with business objectives.
- Manage product sourcing from overseas suppliers, including handling the import process, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to optimize cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Manage and monitor supplier credit terms to ensure compliance with the group’s financial policies.
- Evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with service agreements and quality expectations.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions.

**Logistics & Inventory Control**
- Oversee demand planning initiatives, utilizing market insights, consumer trends, and data analytics to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Manage and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, ensuring optimal stock turnover rates.
- Implement inventory control measures to maintain accuracy, reduce wastage, and improve efficiency.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective transportation, storage, and distribution of goods.

**Operational Efficiency & Compliance**
- Work closely with the production and operations teams to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet quality benchmarks.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for supply chain and logistics operations.
- Ensure that all procurement and supply chain activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.

**Stakeholder & Team Management**
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the supply chain team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and adaptability within the department.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Malay. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Possess own transport and willingness to travel as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
