Assistant Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. School Management: Drive monthly and yearly school enrolment and revenue targets. Plan and organize enrolment activities to attract potential customers. Monitor student retention and address customer inquiries and objections. Manage the replenishment and storage of Yamaha textbooks for new and current students. 2. Daily Operations: Ensure instruments and studio equipment are well-maintained and hygienic. Oversee stock control, collections, banking, and other operational matters. Send reminders and making calls for outstanding fees. Ensuring sufficient and efficient staffing and scheduling of staff roster. Process of month end payment to Teachers and reports. Prepare and comply with SOPs, advertising proposals, and regular performance reports. 3. Coaching & Development: Conduct meetings, coaching, and performance evaluations for staff and teachers. Propose and implement training programs to enhance staff development. 4. Business Development: Identify business opportunities and potential customers. Update the team on market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies. 5. Support Retail/Sales Operations: Participate in sales activities, campaigns, and events. Stand in for staff on emergency leave or shortage of manpower. JOB REQUIREMENT Qualification: minimum Diploma in Sales or Marketing with pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English. A proven track record in school or operations management (experience in the music education industry is a plus). Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Willing to work on shift as rostered. Passion for music education and customer service excellence. 1 year fix-term contact with the possibility of renewal based on good performance.
