Working Hour Regular Hours Monday - Friday - Business Area Community Banking - Location Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur - Description**Primary Objective**: - The charter is to serve homeowners’ overseas property needs and journey, from discovery to disbursement and beyond. - Execute the business strategy and ensure value delivery from internal and external parties collatively, by curating the team's performance (managing the "what" and holding responsibility of the deliverables) and initiate continuous improvements based on customer needs Mission - Lead planning, development and review homeowners’ Overseas Property Loan product to address full range of overseas property homeowners need - Lead design of proposal and implement initiatives Lead addressing product specific requests to determine needs (product gaps, competitive advantages, retention) and ensure product is well-accepted in the market **Key Responsibilities**: Vision and Value Delivery - Ideate and determine a strategic plan/initiative, in alignment with Centre of Expertise and Service Partner teams to deliver business aspirations. - Remove obstacles and coordinate actions for successful implementation of initiatives. Overseas Property Loan Product & Portfolio Management - Australia - Plan, develop and review residential properties loan to grow portfolio by achieving sales revenue & loan targets. - Strong communication for effective collaborate with various stakeholders, including service partners, business support teams, Centre of Expertise, marketing, and senior management to ensure product goals and visions are set right. - Stay informed and analyse property/real estate market, interest rate, economic trends and competitors offering to ensure proposition is well accepted among target segment and potential expansion of property financing locations. - Review regulations which is different according to states that influence overseas mortgage business, including and not limited to engagement with relevant internal and external parties with the objective to secure the Bank’s position in the mortgage business. Eg: foreclosure processes to address cross-border constraints and holdings costs. - Participate in risk associated discussion to develop long-term solutions. - Participate in ESG risks discussions to address climate physical risk of the collateral. - Responsible for overall alignment to strategic customer acquisition through good on-boarding customer journey and drive continuous process improvement by factoring customer feedback. - Ensuring adherence to regulations, i.e. Foreign Exchange Policy (FEP) Notices requirements. - Lead project to address product-related issues and implement solutions and enhancements. - Monitor foreign currency movements and response timely to market event that may affect the security value to trigger margin call, if applicable Other Team Initiatives - Assist Programme/Squad Lead to plan and implement tasks required for delivery of Quest Lead initiatives as assigned by Squad Lead, Homeowners and Head of Consumer Finance including and not limited to special rates requests, customer inquiries/ requests via CPM mailbox, product training and business related knowledge sharing - Requirements**Requirements**: Bachelor Degree - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ mortgage experience including understanding of industry specific products, pricing, product management with knowledge of mortgage loans processing, compliance and underwriting - Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications/ presentation skills - Consultative and collaborative leadership style - Client focused, coupling strategic focus with strong execution skills and result orientation - Strong business, financial and technical acumen Strong Microsoft office skills -PowerPoint & Excel - BenefitsDental, Education support, Miscellaneous allowance, Medical, Loans, Sports (e.g. Gym), Parking, Vision, Regular hours, Mondays - Fridays, Casual Business Wear, Performance Based Rewards
