Lead of Technical Department

**Responsibilities**:

- Role Overview
- The purpose of this role is to push the boundaries of what is technically possible and achievable for running projects as well as lead the R&D processes from a technical perspective. Meaning, you will be cooperating closely with sales, project managers and product owners taking care of the tech part of our solutions. You will be also consulting clients as a tech consultant. In short, you need to kick ass in tech.
- Note: this is not always an office job, you will need to go onsite and climb a ladder from time to time.- Key Responsibilities
- Technical Work: oversee the development and develop high quality hardware and software for project teams/sales teams/clients
- Creative Thinking: Contributing well-thought ideas & solutions for project execution
- Collaborative Work: working collaboratively with project and product teams and to produce high-quality hardwares for project execution
- Planning & Visualization: developing hardware briefs for various projects by gathering information and mapping out overall hardware planning
- Estimate the timelines: estimating project timelines to sales teams/clients
- Deadline Driven: ability to work at high quality even with deadline-driven projects are at hand
- Leading the technology side of our R&D projects and being the Leader of our tech team
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies: being up-to-date with the latest emerging software and platforms
- Qualifications and required skills
- OK, so tech is a pretty general term. We work mostly with:

- Touch Designer, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Web development, App development, Projection, Sensors, etc. You don’t need to know all of it but you should know what is possible and be able to have:

- Electronic knowledge - circuit building, understanding components and functions
- Technical Work capabilities: create customized hardware for embedded systems, meaning also doing the real work as well (until our tech team grows big enough that you don’t have to)
- Basic embedded programming system knowledge
- Added advantages: Fluency in Arduino, Python, js, TouchDesigner, OpenSource etc.
- A good health and not be afraid of heights
- It would be great if you can drive car or motorbike. Own Transport is an advantage
- Language: English (priority), Malay or Mandarin is an advantage, but not a must.**Benefits**:
