**About the Role**:
We are looking for a diligent and reliable Inventory Assistant to support our inventory and warehouse operations. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in logistics and supply chain management. You will be responsible for assisting with daily stock handling, maintaining records, and ensuring the accuracy of our inventory data.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operational Support**:

- Assist in receiving incoming goods and materials; verify quantities and check for damage.
- Support the picking, packing, and dispatching of orders accurately and on time.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Label and place items in the correct storage locations.

**Inventory Counting & Record Keeping**:

- Participate in regular stock counts, including cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Assist in investigating and reconciling any discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the company's system (e.g., ERP, WMS, or spreadsheet).
- Prepare and file documentation related to goods received (GRN) and goods issued.

**Data Entry & Reporting**:

- Perform daily data entry tasks to ensure system data reflects physical stock movements.
- Assist in generating basic inventory reports for the management team.
- Help monitor stock levels and alert the Inventory Executive/Supervisor about low stock or potential shortages.

**General Duties**:

- Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., hand pallet jack, barcode scanner) after training.
- Provide support to other team members and departments as needed.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Education**: SPM/STPM, Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

**Required Skills & Competencies**:

- **Basic Numeracy Skills**: Comfortable with numbers for counting and recording stock.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to spot errors and ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to perform light physical duties, including standing for long periods, walking, and lifting lightweight items.
- **Team Player**: Willingness to learn and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- **Initiative**: Proactive and able to follow instructions carefully.
- **Communication Skills**: Basic proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- **Computer Literacy**: Familiarity with basic computer operations and Microsoft Office (especially Excel for data entry).
