**AirAsia X** is seeking a **Maintenance Operations Control Manager** to be part of our winning team The **MOC Manager** is responsible in managing the MOC to ensure it provides effective aircraft maintenance and operation with tracking and control of operational activities at all line stations to ensure availability of aircraft for daily operation and services.

**Functional Responsibilities**
- ** Assist CAM on policy matters & effective functioning of department.**
- ** Establish and maintain an effective administrative system within the MOC section.**
- ** Manage and control the department to ensure effective utilization of the ie. software, hardware and manpower.**
- ** Ensure engineering activities are in compliance with airworthiness rules and regulations.**
- ** Establish and maintain an effective 24 hours communication center and focal point to support aircraft maintenance and operation.**
- ** To ensure the department operates in a safe manner while achieving OTP and dispatch reliability targets for the company's fleet.**
- ** To ensure the department monitors and captures technical delay, recurring, chronic and potential AOG defects to prevent AOGs.**
- ** Chair the MEM or nominate a representative.**
- ** Attend OTP and FMC meetings.**
- ** Ensure effective consultation and liaison between AMO, QA, Technical Services, Planning and Purchasing Department to ensure AMO tasks can be done efficiently.**
- ** Ensure effective consultation and liaison with the AMO/ FAMO for work execution and to ensure AMO/ FAMO has resources that were requested by AMO/ FAMO for tasks.**
- ** Advise superior on required resources and staff training.**
- ** Update CAM on defect status and rectification status on a daily basis and any other relevant duties as assigned by the CAM.**
- ** Review, control and follow-up on all line station maintenance agreements and service standards.**
- ** Plan, implement and manage the budget requirements for line stations. To negotiate with Technical Handlers where the contract aspects are concerned.**
- ** In the prolonged absence of the MOC Manager for more than 21 days, the MOC Defect Analyst will assume the Manager’s Role.**

**Qualifications & Experience**
- ** Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License on any modern heavy aircraft.**
- ** Minimum 10 years of aviation experience out of which 2 years on supervisory functions, pertaining to maintenance operation or managerial experience.**
- ** Professional and technical knowledge related to aircraft maintenance operation.**
- ** Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License with certifying experience on any larger aircraft.**
- ** Attended type training on company registered aircraft. e. 5 years certifying experience on Airbus A330 or equivalent type authorization on aircraft of similar technology, construction and system.**
