**Functional Responsibilities**

Managing the Maintenance Operations Control to ensure it provides effective aircraft maintenance and operation with tracking and control of operational activities at base and line stations to ensure availability of aircraft for daily operation and services.

**Functional Duties**
- Establish and maintain an effective administrative system within the Maintenance Operations Control section.
- Manage and control the department to ensure effective utilization of the resources.
- Ensure maintenance activities are in compliance with airworthiness rules and
- regulations
- Establish and maintain an effective 24H communication center and focal point to support aircraft maintenance and operation.
- Develop and implement systems/procedures to achieve On-Time Performance and dispatch reliability targets for the company's fleet of aircraft.
- Implement systems and procedures to capture technical delay, recurring, chronic, and potential AOG defects to prevent AOGs.
- To manage and to ensure the effectiveness of Daily Operation meetings.
- To attend On Time Performance (OTP) and Fleet Monitoring Community (FMC) meeting
- To follow up chronic defects with preventive and corrective action with aircraft manufacturer’s representatives and vendors.
- Ensure effective consultation and work closely with the Technical Services to obtain technical support and approved maintenance data.
- Advise superior on required resources requirement and staff training.
- Responsible for the management, safekeeping, updating and review of the Maintenance Operation Control (MOC) manual.
- Responsible in the selection of maintenance organization for the purpose of AirAsia aircraft technical handling at line stations

- Proficient in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possesses good knowledge of computer skills.
- Capable in imparting knowledge to MOC (Controllers).
- Confidence in theory as well as in practical demonstrations.
- High Sense of commitment and dedication.
- Independent with good work ethics.
- Strong level of leadership qualities.
- Able to travel as when it is required.
- Well versed with company procedures & process flow.

**Minimum working experience**:

- Hold a valid CAAM Aircraft Maintenance License (AML)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a certifying licensed aircraft engineer.
- Have held a position as MOC previously and well versed with the job scope.
- Have completed a minimum of 3 weeks of handover/ duty familiarization process from the previous Manager.
