Country Finance Manager

**WORK LOCATION : PERLING JOHOR BAHRU / PUCHONG SELANGOR**

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

1.Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the financial and accounting system and make recommendations where appropriate.

2.Formulate and appropriate new financial policies and procedures.

3.Establish and monitor annual operating budget, forecast and revisions in accordance with sound accounting and budgeting principals.

4.Improving and maintaining the financial standing of companies under ECON Healthcare Malaysia.

5.Determining financial strategy and policy, including the management of appropriate funding and financial risks in ECON Healthcare Malaysia.

6.Ensure the companies have the cash and liquidity to meet the obligations, including the involvement in securing credit from banks and other sources, tax and compliance matters.

7.Develop and implement goals, policies, priorities and procedures relating to financial management, budget and accounting.

8.Supervise and participate in the preparation of various financial statements and reports.

9.Assist in the maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.

10.Direct the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses and insurance records.

11.Direct and participates in cost analyses and rate studies.

12.Prepare statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues for annual Business Plan preparation.

13.Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.

14.Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Finance Department activities.

15.Facilitate the external audit exercise and external financial reporting.

16.Reviews financial statements with the Group Chief Financial Controller and Country Director.

**B. OPERATIONAL LEVEL**

1.Manage daily cash balances and ensure that cash flows are adequate to allow Centre to operate effectively.

2.Forecast cash payments and maintain the accounts system.

3.Liaise closely with Nursing Department on consumable items and ensure the billing process is handled timely and effectively.

4.Plan and direct the activities of all staff in Finance Department.

5.Prepare reports as required by law, regulations or company policies and ensure compliance with the applicable law and procedures.

6.Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operational flow of the Centre.

7.Responsible to be result-oriented to meet the achieved objectives and agreed set-target in meeting both the profitability and occupancy rate of the centre.

8.Facilitate operational staff in carrying out their responsibilities in accordance to the operational guidelines and SOP.

9.Ensure satisfactory staff job results by coaching, counselling, training and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.

10. Provide good communication skills and excellent customer services at all times.

11. Facilitate to investigate and resolve all feedback and complaints faced by the centre.

12.Ensure effective management of resources, cut waste, increase productivity at centre level.

13.Ensure proper inventory control by conducting regular inspections or audits.

14.Perform such other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Possess Degree in Finance or Accounting with Professional Accounting qualification or its equivalent.
- 10 years of relevant working experience.
- Computer literacy including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard accounting software packages.
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Familiar with healthcare field and medical terminology.

**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
