**Role Summary**:
The COO oversees the university’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance and excellence across academic and administrative functions. The role provides strategic leadership to align operations with institutional goals.
- Oversee daily academic and administrative operations.
- Implement strategic initiatives to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with higher education regulations.
- Support growth, innovation, and sustainability plans.
- Provide leadership to senior management teams.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in Business Administration Management, Higher Education Administration or a related field (PhD preferred from top tier universities)
- Professional certifications in leadership, finance or operations management ( e.g., SPA, CFA, PMP) may be an advantage.
- 10-15 years of senior management experience in higher education large organisation or MNC’s
- Proven track record in strategic planning financial management, campus operations and resource organisation.
- Knowledge of higher education policies, regulations, and governance structures (local and international) and experience working with MQA, MOHE, government agencies.
- Demonstrated leadership in organisational transformation, digitalisation and operational excellence.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align operations with the university’s academic and research mission.
- Expertise in budgeting, financial sustainability, and revenue diversification (including partnerships, grants, and investments).
- Change management experience, particularly in modernizing universities for competitiveness.
- Knowledge of higher education policies, regulations, and governance structures (local and international).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
