**Role Purpose**:
- Advises on HR policy and assists with implementation of HR procedures and processes. Works directly with the organization's leadership to develop and direct an HR agenda that closely supports the organizational goals.

- and offboarding, and retention of talent, within an area of expertise, ensuring compliance with specified design principles, internal policies, and external legal requirements. Enable the attraction, development, and retention of talent at a sustainable cost.
**Information and Business Advice**
**HR Data Analytics and Insights**
Deliver analyses of HR data; identify trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business performance.
**Employee Relations Case Management**
Provide advice and guidance to managers in developing, documenting, and communicating solutions (including disciplinary action) for individual Employee Relations cases; support managers at formal hearings.
**HR Data Management**
Carry out complex HR data processing tasks; advise colleagues when needed and use expertise to help improve data collection tools and administration processes.
**Personal Capability Building**
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
**Internal Client Relationship Management**
Manage relationships with internal clients and act as a business partner to them, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and managing the deployment of appropriate internal and/or external resources to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
- Responsible to corrective and preventive actions.
- Responsible to ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs.
- Lead relevant HR related projects and engage business leaders to advocate and demonstrate compliance with HR policy and champion interventions.
- Develop solutions and challenge the business as appropriate to drive customer-focused innovation within HR.
- Change Management - Coach and develop senior leaders on a number of business-wide initiatives, including change programmes and engagement strategies.
- Coordinate the deployment of HR skills and expertise from across the HR model to bring the right people solutions to the business.
- Establish and implements local HR strategies by establishing department accountabilities
- Lead the HR agenda to assess, evaluate and develop the right skills in the right places across the business, facilitating strategies to fill gaps where needed
- Inspire business leaders to deliver HR transformation of their area, aligning ways of working to create a high performance people culture.
- Leads HR operations: recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, discipline and grievances; planning, monitoring, appraising and maintaining compensation in line with Group policy.
- Develops HR operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
- Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and encouraging organization values.
- Partners Plant Director and participate in Trade Union/Works Council negotiations.
- Take proactive approach to employee relation matters and develop collaborative relationships in an environment of continuous improvement and with employee involvement.
- Ensure GKN corporate governance compliance.
- Complies with employment legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Lead on Staffing, Compensation & benefits, Training & Development, MIS reports & Analysis, and administrative activities.
- Assist in staff internal staff movement - transfer, promotion & resignation including conducting exit interview on all staff resignation.
