Go Capital Growth Sdn Bhd is a leading gold bullion trading firm in Malaysia, specializing in physical gold trading, hedging, and investment products. We provide secure and efficient trading solutions to institutional and retail clients, ensuring compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and Securities Commission (SC) regulations.

**Job Purpose**

The **Account Executive (Settlement)** is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely settlement of gold bullion trades, managing trade confirmations, reconciling transactions, and coordinating with banks, vaults, and counterparties. The role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of precious metals trading, and familiarity with financial regulations in Malaysia.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Trade Settlement & Confirmation**
- Verify and process daily gold bullion trades (spot, forwards, swaps) in line with company policies.
- Ensure timely matching and confirmation of trades with counterparties (banks, brokers, clients).
- Liaise with dealers, clients, and banks to resolve discrepancies in trade details.

**2. Reconciliation & Reporting**
- Reconcile daily trade positions, inventory, and bank statements.
- Monitor physical gold holdings in vaults and ensure alignment with ledger records.
- Prepare daily/weekly settlement reports for management and regulatory compliance.

**3. Payment & Delivery Coordination**
- Arrange fund transfers (TT, RTGS) for gold purchases/sales in MYR and foreign currencies.
- Coordinate with vault operators for physical gold delivery/withdrawal instructions.
- Ensure compliance with AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorism Financing) procedures.

**4. Compliance & Risk Management**
- Ensure adherence to BNM, SC, and Labuan FSA regulations (if applicable).
- Assist in internal/external audits related to trade settlements.
- Identify and escalate settlement risks (failed trades, delays, fraud risks).

**5. Process Improvement**
- Propose automation/process enhancements to improve settlement efficiency.
- Maintain SOPs for settlement workflows and train junior staff.

**Qualifications & Experience**

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CISI, ICA, or CAMS) are a plus.

**Experience**:

- **3-5 years** in trade settlement, operations, or treasury, preferably in:

- Commodities trading (gold, precious metals)
- Banking/financial services (back-office operations)
- Familiarity with **MYR/FX payments, bullion trading terms (spot, forwards, LBMA standards)**.
- Experience with **vault operations, trade finance (LCs, bank guarantees)** is advantageous.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and trading platforms.
- Knowledge of **BNM’s Financial Crime Prevention guidelines** and **FATF standards**.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines (e.g., daily settlement cut-offs).
- Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin/Indonesian Language is a plus (for regional clients).

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
