**BAT DBS FINANCE - REGIONAL CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE LEAD**

**SENIORITY LEVEL**: Mid-Senior Level Management
**FUNCTION**: GBS Procurement
**SALARY RANGE**: (RM10,000 - RM13,500) + excellent benefits + market leading bonus
**LOCATION**:Selangor, Malaysia

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

**Reports to**:Head of GBS Procurement
**Reporting Level**:Lead others -Vendor Analyst
**Geographic Scope**:Selangor, Malaysia

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Responsible for providing materials such as templates and training documents for GBS hubs to conduct end to end tactical sourcing consistently and efficiently, including StS solution training to ensure all vital steps are followed and logged
- Provides training on different types of e-auctions & gaming theories to GBS sourcing team
- Responsible for introducing new technologies and innovation to improve value creation
- Collaborate with category managers and end market procurement teams on strategic projects
- To set-up and implement e-auctions for tactical and strategic sourcing projects in consultation with end markets, global and GBS tactical procurement teams
To respond to user queries (from Procurement or the business) with regards to final award including providing necessary audit trail
- To deploy the supplier risk governance and framework for all new and existing procurement Suppliers associated with BAT
- To support and conduct risk management / due diligence processes to support the Procurement teams globally for new suppliers
**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**
- Are you familiar with digital tool such as SAP, AI and Power BI?

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- CIPS Corporate Diploma in Purchasing and / or membership of The Chartered Institute for Purchasing and Supply equivalent country qualification or membership is desirable but not compulsory
- 7-8 years of strong sourcing experience using eProcurement / e-Sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Icertis and / or Oracle)
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or another business-related field
- Sophisticated capabilities in conducting tactical and strategic sourcing activities
- Strong project management skills to coordinate all GBS sourcing tasks centrally
- Experience of the creation of effective group contracts, and knowledge around corporate regulation and legislation implications
- Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships working across geographic boundaries
