**About the role**

The Junior Internal Accounting Auditor will support the Internal Auditor in conducting audits of financial systems and processes. This role will focus on assisting with the integration and interaction of multiple software platforms and ensuring compliance with internal controls. The Jr. Auditor will also assist in reviewing financial records for accuracy and completeness and will have an opportunity to learn and develop key auditing skills while contributing to the company’s mission of maintaining accurate financial reporting.

**What you'll do**
- Assist in performing internal audits of financial processes, systems, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with client services to help track and maintain client budgets in real time, ensuring alignment with financial reporting.
- Support the audit of the interaction and integration between accounting and operational software platforms to ensure correct revenue recognition and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reporting.
- Assist in reviewing the company’s books, verifying the accuracy of financial records, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
- Aid in the development and implementation of audit plans and procedures specific to the company’s software environment.
- Identify potential areas for improvement in workflows, controls, and systems, providing recommendations to the Internal Auditor.
- Work alongside technology and finance teams to support troubleshooting of software-related issues affecting financial data integrity.
- Help prepare audit reports that detail findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review.
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing risk.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CIA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years experience in internal auditing or accounting, with a focus on systems and process audits.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and their integrations.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
