Procurement Executive

Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans in line with organizational objectives and vessel operational requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify procurement needs, forecast demand, and establish procurement budgets.
Supplier Sourcing and Selection: Identify potential suppliers and contractors, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions. Develop and maintain a robust supplier database to ensure a reliable and competitive supply chain.
Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Tendering: Prepare RFQs and tender documents, ensuring clarity in specifications, terms, and evaluation criteria. Manage the tendering process, evaluate bids, and recommend the selection of suppliers based on technical capabilities, price competitiveness, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Contract Management: Draft and negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and commercial requirements. Monitor contract performance, resolve any disputes, and facilitate contract renewals or terminations as necessary.
Purchase Order Management: Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in specifications, quantities, delivery timelines, and pricing. Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to track order progress, resolve delivery issues, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication, and collaborating to drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery performance. Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of critical spare parts, consumables, and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels to support vessel operations while minimizing holding costs. Implement inventory control measures, such as forecasting, stock rotation, and obsolescence management.
Cost Control and Savings: Identify opportunities for cost savings and value optimization in the procurement process. Conduct cost analysis, negotiate prices, explore alternative sourcing options, and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality and safety standards.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
